A line of extreme thunderstorms moved throughout New England on Friday, spawning no less than two tornadoes south of Boston and east of Windfall, R.I., and producing sturdy gusts that toppled timber and energy strains, officers stated.
There have been no rapid reviews of accidents in reference to the storms, which prompted the Nationwide Climate Service to situation flash flood warnings for components of Massachusetts, together with Boston.
Kevin Cadima, a meteorologist with the Climate Service in Boston, stated a twister had been confirmed in Scituate, R.I., west of Windfall, at round 8:45 a.m. A survey staff has been dispatched to evaluate the injury, he stated.
One other twister was confirmed on Friday morning close to Mansfield, Mass., southwest of Boston, the Weather Service said.
