ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – A person has been charged with the homicide of his sister in St. Louis County on Saturday, July 3.
The incident occurred within the 900 block of Alpine Ridge Dr. at round 9 a.m. Officers responded to a name from Anthony Sokolich, 70, asking for an ambulance for his sister. Police discovered Katherine Sokolich, 63, unresponsive with a number of accidents to her face within the residence. She was taken to the hospital with a extreme mind bleed. Sokolich died the subsequent day from her accidents.
Police stated Anthony Sokolich was arrested when he admitted to hitting his sister a number of occasions earlier than she was unresponsive. He has been charged with first-degree assault and is being held on $250,000 money solely with no 10% bond.
