Friday, September 2nd, 2022, 5 people suspected of being members of the “400 Mawozo”, denounced by members of the inhabitants, had been arrested in Malpasse after they tried to cross the Haitian-Dominican border by way of Lake Azuel ( brackish pond) to flee the management of Border Law enforcement officials (PoliFront).

Délice Judenson (22), native of Carrefour
Félix Ritelmé (24), native of Carrefour
Laguerre Jean Gardy (28), native of Carrefour
Thelusmé Dieuson (25), native of Grand-Goâve
Louis Philippeson (19), native of Mariani (peripheral space of Carrefour)
