At the very least 5 individuals died and several other others have been injured after a small aircraft crashed in Carrefour, Port-au-Prince Apr. 20, the pinnacle of the police drive in Carrefour instructed native retailers.
The pilot of the aircraft that was heading to Jacmel, Amado Gutierres, was transported to the hospital, Pierre Samedi added.
A truck carrying merchandise and a tap tap pick-up truck flipped throughout the incident, which led to extra individuals getting injured. They have been getting transported to the hospital on the time of this writing.
“I’m deeply saddened by the crash of a small aircraft on the street of Carrefour, which precipitated deaths and accidents,” Prime Minister Ariel Henry tweeted. “I ship my sympathy to the households of the victims, whom this new tragedy has simply plunged into the best desolation.”
